134th Rose Parade Is Set To Step Off

NOVEMBER 8, 2022 - EVERYTHING IS COMING UP ROSES
The 134th annual Rose Parade, presented by Honda, will take place on January 2, 2023 in Pasadena, California. The parade will consist of floats, marching bands, and other auxiliary and mounted units. Groups from all over the country and the world will participate in the New Year spectacle. Groups from as far as Japan and China, to groups just down the street from Pasadena City College. The parade will be watched by millions of people lining the streets of Colorado Boulevard and by tens of millions watching from home, all over the globe. This will be the second Rose Parade coming from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Marching bands participating in the Rose Parade also perform at Bandfest. Groups perform their field performance and conduct a pass-in-review prior to marching down Colorado Boulevard. Bandfest will take place December 30th and 31st. The tournament of roses music committee will be livestreaming all of the performances on the Tournament of Roses YouTube page.

The Band Directors Marching Band was one of many performing bands that participated in the 133rd annual Rose Parade on January 1, 2022. The Band consisted of Band Directors from all over the country and even some international directors from Mexico.
